Vaibhav Kulkarni’s professional journey reflects a rare blend of aviation, engineering, education, and emerging technology. As the Business Partner and Chief Technology Officer of Techmatron LLC, and the founder of The Grow Club, he has built his work around one consistent goal — making complex technologies easier to understand and apply.
Early Interest in Aviation and Engineering
Vaibhav’s fascination with aerospace began at an early age. His interest in flying machines and aircraft systems led him to pursue aeronautical engineering. During this phase, he gained industry exposure through internships with Airbus, Bengaluru Aircraft Industries Limited, and Hindustan Aeronautics Laboratories (HAL).
These experiences introduced him to aircraft systems, operational processes, and engineering design in real-world environments. They also helped him develop a structured and problem-solving mindset.
Experience in Airport Operations
Beyond engineering, Vaibhav expanded his career into airport operations. He worked on airside operations for domestic and international airlines at Bengaluru and Delhi airports.
Working in highly coordinated environments strengthened his operational discipline and decision-making abilities. The experience also sharpened his leadership skills, particularly in situations where precision and timing were critical.
Building The Grow Club
While working in technical environments, Vaibhav observed that many students struggled with engineering and aviation subjects because of overly complicated teaching methods.
This insight led to the creation of The Grow Club. The platform focused on simplifying subjects such as aerospace engineering, robotics, avionics, fluid mechanics, structural design, and pilot training.
Rather than relying only on theory, the platform emphasized practical understanding and simplified learning methods.
Expanding Through Digital Education
As online education became more accessible, Vaibhav expanded The Grow Club through YouTube. Educational playlists on aerodynamics, jet engines, and ATPL, CPL, and PPL pilot training programs gained significant traction.
The platform eventually reached over 8,000 learners and crossed one million views. This growth reflected increasing demand for technical education that is both accessible and practical.
Combining Technology with Business Strategy
To strengthen his business understanding, Vaibhav pursued business and marketing studies at Liverpool Business School in the United Kingdom. He also completed his MBA between 2022 and 2024.
This phase helped him combine technical expertise with strategic thinking. During the same period, Autodesk recognized him as the “Best Product Designer” for his work using AutoCAD and Fusion 360.
Expanding into Emerging Technologies
Through Techmatron LLC, Vaibhav worked alongside entrepreneur Dr. Gunjan Sarang on projects related to artificial intelligence, healthcare innovation, defense systems, IT solutions, and UAV surveillance technologies.
His interests also extend to Blockchain and Cybersecurity. He focuses on how these technologies can improve industry systems and support long-term innovation.
Recognition and Industry Impact
Over the years, Vaibhav’s work has earned multiple recognitions. These include the Tech Innovators Award in 2022 and the Best Public Speaker award in the Under-30 category in 2023. He was also nominated for the Atal Samman Samaroh 2026 by the Government of India.
His journey reflects a broader shift toward interdisciplinary innovation, where engineering, technology, and education increasingly work together to create scalable impact.
